When you least expect it, life happens. Serious illness, accidents, or hospital visits all come with out-of-pocket medical and non-medical expenses that can set you back financially. Critical illness coverage is a flexible, innovative way to fill the insurance gaps for health care coverage. It pays the associate directly when a critical illness unexpectedly affects you or your family. Critical illness pays a lump sum benefit directly to you if you or a covered dependent are diagnosed with a covered illness or condition after the effective date of your insurance. Associates can purchase Critical Illness coverage for themselves, their spouse and their children (up to age 26). With this added benefit, you can focus on getting better, not your finances. Payroll contributions will be made on a post-tax basis.
